Reminders!

District play starts as we crank back up the regular season. We need to elevate our level of concentration and hustle. Review and reread and study the casebook and rulebook. Be sure to call your partners, or better yet, see if ya'll can ride together. Call the school before noon and if you have a Saturday game call on Friday. Enforce sportsmanship. The following are some "Must-Knows" that I got out Referee Magazine,

Must-Knows

• Foul Count (Use the Board when there is one. You should have a good idea when 1&1 or the double bonus will occur.)
  
  
• Clock (When the whistle blows someone, especially in 3-person should look at the clock.)
  
  
• Score (For pressing situations; last second shot attempts; etc.)
  
  
• Possession arrow (We have all had wrong arrows.)
  
  
• Timeouts (Remember the 30-sec TOs and how many they use. It could save you from asking the coach. Communicate with partners when all are used up.)
